Building community through cars.

Takona started a small cars and coffee morning at a friends coffee shop in the village that they were living in, with the goal was to create a community around cars, encouraging people to make friends and get talking.

This idea has grown over the last two years, with multiple locations joining their network of meets to provide community spaces across the country.

The network now spans locations around England, all opening their doors to provide places for people to share their passion, with the understanding that the people we share these spaces with are there for us if we need them.

Each meet happens on the second Sunday of each month, currently at the following locations (please check each location’s dates & times before attending):

GASOLINE JUICE – Weedon Bec, NN7 4PS. Second Sunday of the Month – 9am
THE WONDER WORKS WITH SCALEXTRIC – Westwood Industrial Estate, Westwood, Margate CT9 4JX. Second Sunday of the Month – 10am.
RE:FUEL CAFE – Five Bridges, Willand Road, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 1QP. Second Sunday of the Month – 9am
GREAT BRITISH CAR JOURNEY – Unit 4 Derwent Works, Ambergate DE56 2HE. Second Sunday of the Month – 8:30am
SNOWTRAX – Matchams Lane, Hurn, Christchurch Dorset, BH23 6AW, UK. Second Sunday of the Month – 9am
THE MOTORIST – New Lennerton Lane Sherburn in Elmet LS25 6JE. Second Sunday of the Month – 10am
